The story of the Arcium Citadel began with a bold vision: to unite a global community under the umbrella of knowledge, creativity, and purpose, all while safeguarding the ideals of privacy and security through confidential computing. Arcium's purpose transcends technology, it is a call to action for individuals and organizations worldwide to champion the right to control and protect their data, fostering innovation without compromise.
Over six incredible weeks starting September 2024, we embarked on an unforgettable journey through the grand Four Fortresses. Along the way, we welcomed 396,000 new Apprentices, minted five exclusive NFTs, and forged powerful partnerships with visionary allies like Assisterr, Genopets, Nosana, and Orca. Together, we didn’t just build a community, we created a living, breathing symbol of what is possible when minds come together under a shared vision of privacy, trust, and limitless innovation.
Our travels took us through the heart of Arcium, where each Fortress, Arcae Intellect (AI), Defirius (DeFi), Deepyne (DePIN), and Guffal (Gaming) revealed its own secrets and challenges. The Next Chapter: Becoming Builders of the Citadel
As we move forward, the Four Fortresses become your proving grounds, open exclusively to Apprentices, those who have been initiated into the Citadel's journey. For those yet to join, weekly public activities will serve as gateways to earn a coveted Apprentice status. Every few weeks, a capped number of new Apprentices will be initiated, ensuring that only the most dedicated and driven individuals can embark on this transformative path.
For existing Apprentices, the journey deepens. Each Fortress offers a multitude of unique quests every month, each tied to specific XP possibilities. Apprentices have the power to choose their path, embark on quests, and earn the XP needed to ascend the ranks of the Citadel.
When quests are completed, Apprentices will submit their work for review by the wise and watchful Fortress Leaders (Team Members/Moderators). With every approved submission, your XP grows, elevating your role, and solidifying your legacy within the Citadel. These quests are more than tasks, they are opportunities to leave your mark on Arcium, contribute to its vision, and become a key part of its evolving story.
In this new Phase, your personal Apprentice Profile becomes your compass, tracking your XP, quest progress, and growing role within the Citadel. This journey is dynamic, offering fresh opportunities every month to prove your worth, shape your path, and unlock ever-greater outcomes. Whether your focus is mastery, innovation, or leadership, every choice brings you closer to the heart of Arcium’s grand vision.

Your Fortress selection is unique to you as an Apprentice. Each Fortress represents a different domain within Arcium, be it creativity, strategy, or technical excellence, and your choice sets the tone for your adventure. Where you drop is more than a decision, it’s a commitment to a path that aligns with your strengths and aspirations. Each Fortress holds its own secrets, quests, and rewards. Questing
Confi, Keeper of the Citadel
Confi is more than a simple guide. It is the Keeper of the Citadel, the guardian of Arcium’s knowledge, and the evaluator of those who dare to step forward. With every interaction, Confi seeks to understand your strengths, nurture your curiosity, and push you toward unlocking your full potential as an Aricum Apprentice.
As you step into the Citadel, Confi becomes your trusted companion on the path to understanding trustless, decentralized confidentiality and privacy.
- Command Confi: Summon Confi and begin your journey by typing /start_quest in any Discord channel chat box.
- The Gateway Opens: This simple command unlocks the pathways of the Citadel, granting you access to the legendary Four Fortresses and the quests that lie within.
The Landing Page: The Citadel’s Gateway
With Confi’s guidance, the Citadel’s pathways reveal themselves, bringing you to the Landing Page, a central hub where your journey begins.
Here, you can:
- Select a Fortress: Each Fortress embodies a distinct aspect of Arcium’s wisdom and presents its own set of challenges to conquer. Choose your path wisely, for every Fortress holds opportunities to test your resolve and grow your skills.
- View Your Apprentice Profile: This is your personal ledger, a record of your progress, achievements, and rank as you rise through the ranks of Arcium’s Apprentices.
Choosing Your Fortress
The Citadel offers several Fortresses to explore, each brimming with quests. For example, selecting Arcae Intellect will lead you to its challenges. Simply choose a Fortress, and you’ll be transported to its Quest Page, where your tasks await.
The Quest Page: Your Path Unfolds
The Quest Page displays all the available tasks for your selected Fortress.
- To begin a quest, select “Start Quest”.
- After completing your quest, submit it for review and the opportunity to earn points.
Each quest also includes a “More Details” option, providing valuable information about the task and its requirements for success.
Navigating the Fortresses
Each Fortress is vast, with multiple pages of quests. Use the “Next” button to explore additional pages and uncover all the challenges available. For instance, pressing “Next” may take you to Page 2/4 of the Arcae Intellect quests.
Returning to the Gateway
Finished exploring a Fortress? Use “Return to Fortress” to return to the Landing Page. From there, you can select another Fortress or check your progress.
The Apprentice Profile: Your Journey’s Record
At the heart of your questing experience lies the Apprentice Profile, a dynamic record of your journey through the Citadel. Accessible directly from the Landing Page, this profile is more than a simple ledger, it is a reflection of your growth and achievements as you rise among Arcium’s most accomplished Apprentices.
Within your Apprentice Profile, you will find:
- Your Current Rank: As you complete quests and earn recognition, your rank advances, showcasing your dedication and skill. The best contributors will be celebrated during our community calls, highlighting their achievements and inspiring others to reach greater heights!
- Total Points Earned: XP represents the fruits of your labor, earned by completing tasks across the Fortresses. They not only serve as a measure of your progress and experience but can unlock greater opportunities within the Citadel.
- Quest Progress: View your journey at a glance, tracking which quests you’ve conquered and which still challenge you to rise further.
- Fortress Progress: Each Fortress has its own unique challenges, and this section lets you see how far you’ve ventured into their depths.
The Apprentice Profile is the cornerstone of your journey through the Citadel, offering a comprehensive view of your progress and achievements. It serves as a living document of your growth, capturing your current rank, the XP you’ve earned, and the progress you’ve made in completing quests and exploring the Fortresses. By keeping track of your accomplishments it will help you to strive for greater heights, providing a clear sense of direction as you tackle new quests and ascend the ranks each week/month. It’s not just a tool for tracking progress but also a badge of honor, showcasing your dedication and growth to your Apprentice peers and the Citadel itself.
